Abstract：Germplasm resources are also known as genetic resources.In the modern society,germplasm resources serve as the material basis for agricultural technology innovation and the development of modern seed industry.They are also strategic resources for ensuring food security,construction of ecological civilization,and realization of sustainable development of agriculture.In order to provide useful information for the innovation and utilization of germplasm resources during the era of molecular breeding,this paper reviews research progresses on germplasm resources in terms of collection,identification and evaluation,and innovation and utilization of germplasm.
