Effect of Different Kinds of Seed Coating Agents on Preventing Stripe Disease and Smut Disease from Hulless Barley

Abstract：This article studied the different kinds of coating agents and compared their functions in prevention of diseases as well as their safety in using. The results showed that seed treatment of Celest 1. 5 ml/kg Seeds 1ml/kg had good effects in preventing stripe and smut disease with prevention rate of 100%. The yield was increased of 20% than that of untreated check. Field application showed that it was safe to hulless barley,which could increase the emergence rate and promote vegetative growth. The effectiveness of treatment of Dividend 1 ml/kg Seeds took the second place.
